EXHIBITIONS & PRESS
Caroline Cole has exhibited her work in a number of galleries across the UK; also in China. Her work sits in private collections in the USA, Dubai, Hong Kong, mainland Europe, Australia and the UK. It has attracted media attention from both the art world and more mainstream, lifestyle publications.
In the UK, two solo shows of her work have been curated at the Oxo Gallery on London’s Southbank: ‘Order through Pattern’ in 2023, which focused on the confluence of shape, colour and surface; and ‘Schema’ in 2026, which probed the origins of that confluence within nature’s structures. Along with her sister, paper artist Sophie Arup, she co-curated two shows in London: the first entitled ‘Sisters 1’ in 2014 at the Cole Gallery in Brick Lane, and the second, ‘Sisters 2’ in 2018 at the Herrick Gallery in Piccadilly. More recently, her work was included in a group show at Cambridge Contemporary Art in 2023. Also, it was selected by Lady Jill Ruddock as part of her The Second Half show in 2024.
Caroline’s work was introduced to the Chinese market in 2018, when her unique pieces were exhibited at the 2018 ‘Best of British’ Expo in Shanghai.
Her work has been featured in specialist ceramic magazines but also in lifestyle magazines in Europe and the US, including Ceramic Review, Wall Street International Magazine and German Vogue, as well as HNWI media outlets in China: Real Estate Frontiers and the Hurun Report.
She has a piece in the permanent ceramics exhibition at the Botree Hotel in Marylebone, London.
